Saving the Ortega Papers: 300 Years of Chimayó History

On August 20 at 2 p.m. at the Chimayó Museum, CCPA board president Don Usner will present a selection from a remarkable collection of passed-down documents which start in 1706 and include land grant papers, wills and testaments, land sales, personal letters, litigation, arrest warrants, and a miscellany of other records from the following 200 years.
