Fiesta del Padre – Dads, Kids, Cars!

Sunday, June 18, 2-5 pm.

Lowriders have been cruising the streets of northern New Mexico for decades, and building and showing the cars is recognized as an art and cultural practice for which the Española Valley—the “Lowrider Capital of the World,” according to MTV—is famous. Dads, bring your family and come celebrate fatherhood and the lowriders’ passion for their craft.

This Father’s Day Celebration at the Chimayó Museum will showcase the “rides” of the Los Guys Car Club and others.

The museum will offer light refreshments and snacks and fun.
